Hineuru Wananga Reo
Hineuru maranga mai!
Do you have a passion for te reo Maori? Or even a passion for seeing and hearing te reo Māori amongst our Hineuru whānau? We want you.
Hineuru Iwi Trust is holding a wananga kōrero on 19 April 2023 starting at 5pm at the Crown Hotel, Ahuriri, to find our iwi reo champions. You do not need to be fluent in te reo Māori. If you have a passion for supporting the iwi and supporting the implementation of the Hineuru Reo Strategy, then please come as we are seeking a range of skills.
The wānanga will include:
- Mihimihi / Welcome / Kai;
- Kōrero about the Hineuru Reo Strategy;
- Discussion and developing a plan for implementation;
- An assessment of skills to support this implementation; and
- An action list moving forward.
We intend to do this over a kai. So please register with us on info@hineuru.com for catering purposes.
